This course introduces the various types of orders required by Medicare: Preliminary/Dispensing Order, Written Order Prior to Delivery (WOPD), Detailed Written Order (DWO), Certificate of Medical Necessity (CMN) and DME MAC Information Form (DIF). You will learn how to know when you use which type of order, how to correctly complete orders, and who is authorized to order durable medical equipment. |
