This course will help the participant understand what diversity is and what it is not. The course will raise a greater awareness and sensitivity to diversity issues and recommend behavioral techniques to use when working with patients as well as co-workers. At the end of this course the participant should be able to respond effectively and appropriately to different cultural contexts in the workplace.
