HR019b is the second part of a three-part course designed to help health care providers increase their understanding of a variety of cultures, religious beliefs, and spiritual practices as well as the age-appropriate care needed to better serve the needs of the individual patient within the health system. In HR019b, you will learn how racial, ethnic, cultural, gender, and sexual orientation differences may affect health care needs and how care is delivered. You will also learn that religious beliefs are common sources of conflict and misunderstanding in a health care setting. |
